This is the new ASUS Zenbook A16, and it’s made from a unique material called Ceraluminum, which allows it to be much lighter and more durable than other laptops in its class. It’s actually mind-blowing how light this thing feels for a laptop this big.
It’s using the latest 18-core Snapdragon X 2 Elite Extreme processor, which makes this thing an absolute powerhouse both when it’s plugged in and on battery. at up to 21 hours of battery life on a single charge, which is awesome. This new Snapdragon Elite Extreme chip includes an 18-core CPU and an 80 tops NPU that is up to 86% faster than Apple M5, according to benchmark.
Beyond the performance, though, this laptop has a 3K 120 Hz OLED touchscreen display that goes up to 1,100 nits of peak brightness, and paired with a six-speaker sound setup, watching content on this thing is genuinely a great experience. I’m also a big fan of things like the full-size SD card slot and having access to so many different ports.
Stuff like that goes a long way for doing creative work, so love to see that here. But, if you’re someone who needs a super light and powerful Windows laptop with battery life for days, then the Zenbook A16 might be the one for you.
