So, whether you’re doing design work, editing, or any creative task, using this display will be a much better experience. With 400 nits of brightness, you can work comfortably whether you’re in a corporate office or sitting at Starbucks. It’s powered by an ‘Ultra’ series processor, so performance won’t be an issue, and the high brightness allows you to work anywhere. You don’t need a dark environment to use it effectively. Apart from this, the only other laptop in this budget offering an OLED display is the Motorola Motobook; no other laptops in this range come with an OLED screen.

It offers 11 AI TOPS. “TOPS” simply stands for Trillion Operations Per Second; the higher this number, the better the performance. You can handle all your day-to-day tasks—multitasking, coding, and editing—on this laptop. As for AI, you can easily run tasks involving ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.

It also comes with 16 GB of DDR5 RAM, which is expandable. Given my work requirements, I might need to expand the RAM, and this device allows for that—we get that flexibility here. It comes with a 512 GB SSD, which is also expandable. You get a 14-inch display with Full HD+ resolution; however, it isn’t OLED—it uses an IPS panel. So, looking at the ₹70,000 budget, we can find laptops from Asus, Lenovo, and Acer, along with many other options in the market. But the one laptop I consider the best is the Motorola Moto 60 Pro. I’m not talking about the standard version, I’m referring to the Pro version. Its average selling price hovers around ₹75,000, but after discounts, you can get the Motorola Moto 60 Pro for close to ₹70,000. Laptop prices are unpredictable, laptop prices fluctuate very quickly.

It’s a laptop with certified build quality and a metal chassis. For this budget, it offers the most powerful processor available: the Ultra 5 125H. It delivers a total of 83 AI TOPS, and out of those 83 AI TOPS, 13 come solely from the NPU (Neural Processing Unit). As I mentioned earlier regarding the 100-series and 200-series processors—this is a 200-series processor. It features 14 cores and 14 threads. It comes with 16GB of RAM specifically 5600MHz RAM, configured as two 8GB sticks—and a 512GB SSD.

As for the display, it’s a 14-inch OLED screen with 2.8K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 125% sRGB coverage, and 500 nits of brightness. You can use the display however you like. You can sit and use it wherever you like; there are absolutely no issues or hassles while working. Plus, you get MS Office with lifetime validity. Now, take note of this: two Asus models are available with the exact same processor. One comes in a 14-inch size, and the other is a 16-inch model. I’ve seen both laptops—comparing the Motorola and the Asus—and I feel the Motorola’s display is slightly better than the Asus model’s. However, many users prefer to stick with Asus.

If that’s your preference, go ahead and buy the Asus laptop; you’ll get the same processor, and overall, the key specifications are quite similar for both.

Best Ai Laptop under 85k

If I were to recommend one final laptop in this price segment it would be my all-time favorite: the Samsung Galaxy Book 4. Its standard selling price is around ₹90,000, but after card discounts, you can easily get it for around ₹85,000. It is a very premium laptop thinner even than an RD Sharma or ML Aggarwal textbook.

It comes with a full-metal build and is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 150H, which is a slightly weaker processor compared to the 150H. Now, looking at single-core and multi-core performance, the 225H is better in this regard. However, it handles all tasks just fine; there isn’t anything that won’t run on this laptop. Plus, you get the Samsung ecosystem. It features a 12-core, 14-thread processor and comes with 16 GB of RAM. It is soldered RAM Samsung laptop RAM isn’t user-upgradable.

However, the RAM is extremely fast, running at 7467 MHz. It has a 512 GB SSD, which is upgradable. There’s a 15.6-inch Full HD display with an IPS panel, offering superior viewing angles.

Samsung’s display quality is also better. You get MS Office with lifetime validity. It has a 60Hz refresh rate and 300 nits of brightness. You can purchase this laptop with complete confidence.

Best AI lGaming laptop Under 1L

Now, for the second one I’ll tell you about one of the best-selling laptops in the under-1-lakh budget range: the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 OLED. Its standard selling price is around ₹1 lakh. It features a 14-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, 125% sRGB coverage, and 400 nits of brightness. Essentially, it offers a color-accurate display; everything from editing to watching and consuming content looks fantastic on it. Plus, the display supports Dolby Vision—a feature usually found in TVs which significantly enhances the viewing experience. It’s powered by the Intel Ultra 9 185H processor, which is comparable to the Samsung 355 model.

The difference lies in the fact that the other one uses the Ultra 7, whereas here I am discussing the Ultra 9 series— specifically comparing the Ultra 9 against the Ultra 7. Despite that, the performance is nearly identical. It’s a processor with 14 cores and 18 threads. It comes with 16GB of RAM—specifically 7467MHz RAM—which is not user-upgradable. There is a 512GB SSD, which is expandable. You also get MS Office with lifetime validity.

Finally, I’ll tell you about two more laptops; both belong to the Ultra series and are personal favorites of mine. The first is the HP Omnibook, a convertible laptop with a 360-degree hinge and a touchscreen display. It is priced at ₹1,15,000. If you want a laptop that is truly unique and distinct—one that functions as both a tablet and a laptop, and allows you to rotate the display to the back for use—then this is the one to buy.

The processor is excellent, and the laptop itself is fantastic. Regarding its specs, it features the Ultra 5 126V processor. Speaking from personal experience, you won’t find a better flip-style laptop in this budget. It has a 14-inch 3K resolution display with a 2-millisecond response time—the kind of response time usually found in gaming laptop displays. It comes with 16 GB of RAM—specifically, high-speed 8533 MHz RAM. The 512 GB SSD storage is expandable, though the RAM cannot be upgraded. You also get MS Office with lifetime validity. All in all, this is a deal you can buy with your eyes closed.

Now, last but not least, let me tell you about an absolute beast of a gaming laptop that features an Ultra-series processor. Its standard price is ₹1,60,000, but if you buy the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 online during a sale, you can get it for around ₹1.5 lakh. It houses the Ultra 7 255 HX processor—a chip with 20 cores and 20 threads, including dedicated LP cores. You can handle any heavy-duty task on this laptop without a second thought. It also offers the most extensive expansion options. It comes with 16 GB of DDR5 RAM clocked at 6400 MHz.

Again, it features some of the fastest RAM available, and it is expandable up to 64GB. It has a 1TB Gen4 SSD that is also expandable. A 16-inch OLED display with 2.8K resolution you’re getting a 16-inch display in a gaming laptop, and that too with 2.8K resolution. I mean, what more could you possibly want? It offers a 240Hz refresh rate. You can use it for more than just gaming; it’s great for editing too, thanks to 125% sRGB coverage. With a 16-inch display size, you’ll be able to handle both editing and gaming exceptionally well. It comes with an 8GB graphics card (RTX 4060), so you can easily play all the high-end games.

Whether it’s titles like GTA V or Valorant—though those are fairly standard games—or even Black Myth: Wukong or Elden Ring, you can play whatever you like. There is actually an RTX 4070 variant available too, but it’s more expensive—priced around ₹1.80 lakh. But take my word for it: the RTX 4060 version is better and comes at a lower price point, so you should definitely consider that one.
