Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra: Everything We Know About the 2027 Flagship

Hey guys, so last time we heard that Samsung is now working on the Galaxy S27 series and we are getting four devices this time. The standard models S27 and S27 Plus get code name NM1 and NM2.

Then the high-end devices with maxed-out specifications, the Galaxy S27 Pro code name NM3 and the Galaxy S27 Ultra which houses an S Pen gets code name NM4. Now shocking news coming in suggests that Samsung is detaching the fourth camera that is a secondary three-times telephoto from the S27 Ultra.

So that is surely a downgrade and that means it’s going to have triple camera setup, 200 megapixel main, a super wide and a five-times periscope shooter. The smaller S27 Pro may get a similar setup. Now the S27 and S27 Plus may use same S26 H design with better camera sensors. The S27 Pro and S27 Ultra, however, are coming with a brand new horizontal camera setup and better camera sensors.

I see the reason Samsung might adopt a horizontal camera design is to make more internal space so that they can put a bigger battery in a better vapor chamber. And yeah, of course, it’s also best design for no dual S wobble when the phone is lying flat.

This design can also help the software switch between cameras more smoothly. The selfie camera in these high-end devices also gets in-house sensor with OIS, that is optical image stabilization.

So better images both on front and rear. Huge news coming in from Galaxy Club, the Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro will feature a battery size of 5200 mAh with a rated capacity 5087. The Samsung S27 Ultra, as the name suggests, finally gets a 5700 mAh massive battery.

Thanks to silicon carbon that packs high energy density into a thinner and lighter phone body. This means the phone stays the same size, remain lightweight, and offers a much bigger battery. Finally, the S27 and S27 Plus might feature a Zenus 2700 chipset outside the US and Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 in the US. The S27 Pro and S27 Ultra, however, may feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 in all the markets.
